Welcome Wake Forest Local Food Collaborative members!

We're so glad you're here! Take a look around, and let us know if you have any questions! We are committed to sustainable growing of year-round produce, often heirloom varieties that you won't see in grocery stores. While the bounty of summer is over, we still have great options to add to your kitchen!

Sweet potatoes were just dug up, we also grow microgreens and have some trays coming ready especially for the November pickup, as well as wild leafy greens! Other fall crops like broccoli and cabbage are on the way and will hopefully be ready for December's pickup. Since our variety is a little less this time of year, we only have a limited availability of our Bounty bags and boxes - a mix of whatever farm fresh produce is available at the time of delivery, similar to a CSA box. If you're interested in these, don't delay since there are only a few available! We also include in these variety bags items that are in small quantity that we don't list separately on the website (like potatoes and green beans).

You may also notice some spicy pantry products on our website! Our nationwide focus is spicy foods, we ship fresh hot peppers during the season, and also carry spicy products from Outta House Creations and The Family Bee's-Nees and ship them to customers nationwide. You may recognize The Family Bee's-Nees as another Wake Forest Local Food Collaborative farmer - in the spirit of the collaborative, please purchase these products directly from them. While Blue Ridge Pepper Patch's focus at the collaborative is produce, we're happy to provide you with Outta House Creations items that we keep in our inventory! They also have non-spicy versions of some of the products as well as baked goods. If you would like to know more about those, please visit their facebook page!  We know you have a lot of options when it comes to buying groceries, and we thank you for choosing us and other small and local farms!
